Brad and Jennifer Flack of Double Oak Storm Tex just returned from a trip to Honduras where they were part of a team able to significantly improve lives of villagers there.
Brad Flack, President of Double Oak Storm Tex, and his wife, Jennifer, just returned from a trip to Honduras where they were part of a team that was able to drill a new water well for a rural village in need. After completing the well, they visited the village that their ministry, Hands and Feet Honduras, adopted last year and passed out food. The village has been named in the process as Nuevo Emanacer, meaning New Beginnings.
There will be a team returning in July of 2015 to once again pass out food, play with the children and assist in some basic needs of the village.
All that they knew of Nuevo Emanacer was that it was a tiny village of about 40 huts that had been getting their drinking water from the side of the road in a ditch where their houses stand. A Living Water International team from First Baptist Church Stockton, CA installed a water well for them in late 2015.
The Flacks are operating via their newly established non-profit called Hands and Feet Honduras, which was created “to help the people of the Aguan River valley in Northern Honduras by being the hands and feet of Christ, both physically and spiritually.”
The mission of Hands and Feet Honduras is to help the people of the Aguan River valley in Northern Honduras by being the hands and feet of Christ, both physically and spiritually. We want to see these people come to know and love the Lord and to be an answer to their prayers. We also want to assist them in becoming a sustainable village where Christ is the center and the people there can radiate the love of Jesus out from this village to areas in the Aguan River valley and all of Honduras.
